My word for this week is another one that my friend, Jill sent to me and I love it! It is one that I hope to include in future conversations.
The word is susurrus.
Susurrus (noun) : a whispering or rustling sound1
Here are some examples I have come up with:
As I walked along the path early in the morning, the susurrus of the leaves blowing in the wind brought a peace to my soul reminding me of the One who is really in control.
It only took a few moments before the adults in the kitchen realized the susurrous of the children in the other room may be because they were getting into some mischief!
